We know that the success of our customers depends on the perfect hair. Despite internationally uniform designations for hair types and hair qualities, there are significant differences from provider to provider. With our hairlexicon we offer a general overview.

MISS GOAT HAIR
The hair of the Tibetan highland goat is as fine and supple as European hair. Only the strip of hair growing between the chin and chest is used. Goat hair has no natural color pigments and is therefore pure white. This makes it particularly suitable for pastel or creative colorations, since bleaching is not necessary.

indian human hair
Indian human hair is round to slightly oval in diameter and about 0.08 to 0.12 mm thick. Although it is almost twice as thick as European human hair, it has a similar inherent movement. It is usually available in natural tones from black to brown. Due to its similarity to European human hair, it is ideally suited for all applications.

chinese human hair
With a round diameter of approximately 0.12 to 0.20 mm, Chinese human hair is 3 to 5 times thicker than European human hair. It is usually available in natural tones from black to dark brown and has almost no movement of its own.

REALHAIR
The term "real hair" is widely used, but says very little about the actual origin (human/animal), ethics (dead/living/forced/voluntary donor), and quality (cuticle/non-cuticle, Remy/non-Remy, etc.) of the hair product. It can be styled, dyed, curled, straightened, shampooed and blow dried.

This is a combination of synthetic and other types of hair. Refined horsehair can be used as well as human hair in all qualities.
Mixed hair is an inexpensive alternative for cutting training.

SYNTHETIC HAIR
This is a synthetic fiber that is heatresitant up to a certain point. High Quality Synthetic hair can optical hardly be distinguished from human hair.
Synthetic hair is a cheap alternative, especially in the basic area. This hair is also known as "Eurotex" or "biofiber".

DEFINITION: REMI HAIR
At Remi Hair, the cuticle layers are intact and all laid out in one direction, this is ensured in a complex tease out process. This prevents the hair from matting on the training head. Not to be confused with hair where the cuticle layer has been removed using chemical processes.
